Though never released, this was one of the projects I most enjoyed working on because it was the 1st time I was given the responsibility of working on a collection (at least in that they were so closely related) of footwear and the opportunity to work with an exciting new technology.  Based around the bold visual of geometric lattice work that became a theme that related to our goals as a design team of creating a functional aesthetic of lightweight structure; this grew into a language that we would use for a number of our shoes that season. 

For both designs the asymmetrical color blocking/pattern was meant to emphasis/highlight the boldness of the cutouts in lattice structure that speak to being lightweight.
